Fortec Medical Corporate Headquarters

ForTec Medical, a national surgical equipment supplier had outgrown its current headquarters in Streetsboro and rather than expand, the Hudson-based owners decided to invest in a new 69,300 square foot facility. Designing ForTec’s headquarters from the ground-up in Hudson brought high-paying health care technology jobs and has allowed Premier Development Partners to meet the customized needs and growth of the ForTec team for years to come.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • ForTec Medical, a national surgical equipment supplier had outgrown its current headquarters in Streetsboro and rather than expand, the Hudson-based owners decided to invest $6 million in a new 69,300 square foot facility in their community.

OBJECTIVES / CHALLENGES:

  • In order to build in Hudson, the Hudson School Board and the Hudson City Council both had to approve a 15-year community reinvestment area tax incentive for the company.

RESULTS:

  • Upon completion of the building, ForTec Medical will bring high-paying health care technology jobs to Hudson, making ForTec an excellent addition to the Hudson business community.
  • Designing ForTec’s headquarters from the ground-up in Hudson allowed Premier Development Partners to meet the customized needs of the ForTec team for years to come, as well as keeping them in their requested community.
