Arhaus needed a North Carolina distribution center to help streamline their operations.
There was no single land parcel available that was large enough to meet the building size requirements, so Premier worked to secure five lots and combined them into one 78-acre parcel.
OBJECTIVES / CHALLENGES:
Construction was scheduled to begin in March 2020; however, the project was shut down for several months due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. After creating a jobsite safety plan and updating the construction timeline, work began in August 2020.
This is the fourth project that Arhaus and Premier have partnered on together. With Arhaus and Premier both being based in Northeast Ohio, Choate Construction was brought on as a construction partner to help manage day-to-day operations on the jobsite.
RESULTS:
Premier and Choate hosted weekly coordination calls with Arhaus to stay in regular communication.
Premier created innovative design solutions to work within the material shortages caused by supply chain issues and was able to adhere to the new construction schedule.
Premier cultivated close relationships with many government officials and contractors within North Carolina and looks forward to future growth in the area.
