REQUIREMENTS:

  • Cleveland Clinic was looking for a new strategic location to serve patients in all aspects of healthcare in a suburban setting.
  • As a healthcare facility, Cleveland Clinic requires the highest level of facility cleanliness and cutting edge technology.

OBJECTIVES / CHALLENGES:

  • The former K-mart in Middleburg Heights had been vacant for over three years. The long-term vacancy had created several plumbing, HVAC and roof issues that needed to be addressed.
  • To ensure good communication throughout the construction process, Premier scheduled weekly coordination calls with Cleveland Clinic stakeholders and other project partners.

RESULTS:

  • The new facility is large enough to hold primary care, over 20 specialty services, an Urgent Care center and a pharmacy. The pharmacy area includes a drive-thru option for contactless prescription pick-up, keeping both workers and patients healthier.
  • The location offers easy highway access, ample parking, and is a short drive away from the Cleveland Hopkins International airport.
