Premier Development Partners is proud to announce that our President Spencer Pisczak has won the NAIOP Northern Ohio Lifetime Achievement Award! We are very proud of your impact on the industry and are honored to work alongside you.
Spencer Pisczak continues an illustrious career in real estate, having played an essential role in transforming the Cleveland industrial market into what we know today. Spencer has over 45 years in the industry and has processed over 1,500 commercial real estate transactions in the disciplines of acquisitions, sales and leasing, development, financing, tax abatement and construction. Spencer has acquired and developed over 1,000 acres, developed over 12 business parks, built over 100 buildings totaling more than 11 million square feet and exceeding $1 billion in value.
Spencer began his career at Herbert Laronge Inc. Realtors and quickly rose the ranks, purchasing his first building in 1984 and reaching Vice President before joining Cragin-Lang Inc. Cragin-Lang was acquired by Grubb & Ellis Real Estate Services, and Spencer was repeatedly in the top five producers of the company. In 1996, Spencer was hired as the first employee of Duke Realty and youngest Vice President ever as they entered the Cleveland market. He launched the industrial branch of Duke Cleveland and ultimately developed 27 projects totaling 3.7 million square feet and bought 15 buildings totaling 1.4 million square feet within nine years.
As Duke exited the Cleveland market, Spencer co-founded Premier Development Partners in 2007. As a full-service development company, Premier offers services across the full spectrum of the real estate process, including site selection, construction, and property management. Today, Premier has 30 employees and continues to grow under Spencer’s leadership.
As a leader in the industry, Spencer has earned both the CCIM designation and held the prestigious SIOR distinction for over 35 years. He supports the industry locally as an active member of the Northern Ohio NAIOP chapter and takes part in events such as the Cleveland Commercial Real Estate Summit where he has sat on speaking panels. Spencer was also inducted into the Midwest Real Estate Hall of Fame in 2019.
Beyond his career, Spencer has actively given back to his community. He has been on the board at Hiram House Camp for 25 years, assisting in their mission of building character and enriching lives of children throughout Northeast Ohio. He also supported numerous other community organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club, Boy Scouts of America, and City Mission. In his free time, Spencer is an avid boater, an accomplished guitar player, and music lover. He and his wife Leslie have been married for 40 years and have three children and five grandchildren.
